Description

Azorean Wine Tasting

Join us for a wine tasting located in Livramento. The tasting area was known for growing wine grapes in the 18th century. A century later, citrus fruit stood out, taking control of the market due to its growing production during the 19th century. In this tasting you will taste 3 white wines and 2 red wines from the Azores archipelago. The wines are paired with local cheeses and snacks seasoned with regional specialties.

Each unique wine is carefully selected and produced by small independent winemakers, some of them producing less than 1000 bottles a year. The tasting takes place on the terrace of the gin library, where you can enjoy views over the countryside and the Atlantic Ocean. Your experience also includes a free visit to Quinta Da Jardinette, one of the local wineries, which produces several of the wines you will taste.
